"The content is good, the layout (site) is really nice. You articulate well, you make it relevant, your "students" are adorable ha ha I also like how you include the small mistakes that they might make and how you go about correcting them. I really like how you include the "why". You are kind, fair but not a pushover with them, it is very balanced. I watch a lot of videos on dog training and some I have paid for and so I like to think that I have a good perspective on the content." Angie L.

About Me

Rena Blackwell

Training dogs is my passion. I was a pre-teen when I first took the family dog to compete in 4-H obedience. I have loved, lived with and trained dogs ever since. I started helping others train their dogs manners, obedience skills and agility approximately 16 years ago when I opened my own training center in Nebraska. I now live in Colorado and I compete in agility with my dogs, as well as give private lessons to others to help them with basic manners and skills. I am a certified trainer (CPDT-KA) and a member of APDT, The Association of Professional Dog Trainers. I continue to take courses and seminars myself as I think it's important to always be learning!
